SONANG PAGPAPAKATOTOO :P
Bagong fan lang ako ng San Mig Coffee/BMEG/Purefoods, naging fan ako since 2012 (nung nagchampion sila noon with Bowles). Noon wala akong kahilig hilig sa basketball, naririnig ko lang sa radio o napapanood ko lang yung about kay James Yap with Kris Aquino, pero about sa basketball wala talaga. Then, finals, game7 of Commissioner’s Cup 2012 BMEG vs Talk ‘n Text. NagShine Bright like a diamond ang PusO aT mata ko sa basketball nung nakita ko si Bowles. Nung time na yun di ako nagdalawang isip kung saan ako kakampi, BMEG o TNT, basta nasa BMEG na ang kampi ko nun, same with my FATHER na Purefoods fanatic ever since, maybe since Alvin Patrimonio’s time basta noon pa basketball fanatic na si Amang Father dearest Ko. Then doon na nagstart ang pagiging fanatic ko sa basketball, also sa team nila Mr. James Yap. At aside kay Mr. Bowles nagshine bright like a diamond din ang puso ko kay James Yap. Nagstart na akong mag-edit ng photos, napasali na din ako sa mga PBA groups at marami na din akong nakilalang friends na adik din sa basketball lalong lalo na sa Purefoods/BMEG/
Di ko talaga malilimutan yung time na down ang team then puro mga di kaaya-ayang salita ang mga mababasa mo sa mga groups. Nakakalungkot, bakit may mga taong ganon, di ko man itanggi naging ganon din ako nung time na di ko na ma-take ang mga salita nila. Nauso din ang pagddown sa mga players or panlalait sa players, naisip ko lang bakit mo kailangan laitin ang ibang tao kung ang sarili mo ay di mo kayang laitin o di mo kayang baguhin? May kanya-kanya taong buhay sila (mga players) nagpapasaya sila ng tao, kung di ka man natutuwa sa performance ng ibang players o ayaw mo sila manahimik ka na lang, at kung makati talaga ang kamay at dila, bago mo silang laitin manalamin muna at magpakaayos, yung ayos na mas magaling, mas matalino at mas matino ka sa taong nilalait mo in short walang kalalait lait ka sa katawan mo o sa ugali mo. Fans at players kahit na ang mga coaches, heads pare-pareho lang na tao, kelan pa ba nanlait ang players ng fans? Ang mga coaches ng fans? Ang mga heads ng fans? Diba? Di ko na tatanungin kung kelan pa nanlait ang mga FANS ng players at coaches, dahil patok na patok yan, kumbaga sa twitter, TRENDING ang ganyan. San lupalok man ng groups mo tignan usong uso ang ganyan, LATEST kumbaga. Andyan na din yung mga words na “LUTO, DAYA, SAGIP-KAPATID” (di lang ito sa San Mig Coffee para sa lahat ito), c’mon kahit na anong gawin, tumalak pa ng tumalak maghapon, magdamag mababago pa ba ng mga gnyang salita ang GAME??? Back to San Mig Coffee, OMYGEE, adik talaga ako kay James Yap, wag kayong umeksena SONANG PAGPAPATOTOO ko toh, “Mind your own Business” hehehh, yung mga nababasa kong masasakit na salita about sa kanya tumatagos talaga sa puso, tyan, tuhod at sakong ko. Haist! Pero pag pumutok naman si MyLhabs “NGA-NGA” lang ang walanG latay ., (Wahahahha). Tandaan nyo to, JAMES YAP is JAMES YAP di nyo na mababago ang PANGALAN na yan ., Lagot kayo kay mother-in-law pag pinabago nyo name nya” Mga PakealamerO’t pakealamera!!,., HEheheh Di ko talaga maexplain yung saya nung nagproposed si myLhabs, lalong laLo na yung thrice kaming ikasaL, kahit na inagaw sya nung una ni Kris Aquino, sakin pa din naman sya bumagsak., kaya ang saya ko eh. Uulitin ko, ang tunay na FAN ay yung kaya mong damayan, kaya mong ipagtanggol, marunong kang magdasal para sa team at di mo kayang iwan ang team mo sa ere. Di man ako nakakapunta ng practice at nakakanood ng live, alam ko sa sarili ko na SAN MIG COFFEE fan ako, pagdudahan man ng iba, so ano ngayon? ISAISIP MO , Ang TANGA ko naman na nagpapakahirap akong mag-edit ng pictures for team kung pekeng fan ako?? PEKENG FAN man sa PANINGIN NYO, wala akong pake sa inYo.!!

Kilala mo ba siya?
Sa tingin ko ni isa sa atin walang di nakakakilala
sa kanya mapa HATERS man o FANS.
Sino nga ba siya ?
Isang basketbolistang may PUSO,
PASYON at walang yabang sa sarili.

San Mig Coffee surges on to semis with win over Alaska
The San Mig Coffee Mixers secured a PBA Governors' Cup semifinals slot against the Meralco Bolts after an 83-73 victory over the Alaska Aces on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Two costly turnovers from the backcourt tandem of Jvee Casio and Cyrus Baguio in the final two minutes prevented the Aces from mounting a comeback the same way they did last Wednesday to force the do-or-die game.
"We went back to basics, focused on our defense, [and] scored the way we want. That was key," said San Mig head coach Tim Cone.
Marqus Blakely was the Best Player of the Game with 30 points, 15 boards and five blocks.

With less than three minutes remaining in the fourth, PJ Simon sank a jumper to give San Mig a comfortable lead, 74-66. But after a Wendell McKines split from the line, Cyrus Baguio rung in a trey to slash the lead to four, 74-70, with two minutes remaining. Misses from Mark Barroca and Marc Pingris gave Alaska another chance to trim the lead, but Baguio and Jvee Casio lost the ball off the inbounds.

After a timeout, the Aces committed another turnover, as Baguio could not handle a Casio pass. A split from Alex Mallari at the other end, led to a frantic play for Alaska, with Mallari ending up fouling a three-point-shooting Baguio. With 34.3 remaining, Baguio canned all three, as the Aces were forced to play the fouling game.
Two free throws from PJ Simon made it a six-point game anew, leading to Alaska head coach Luigi Trillo calling for time. The Aces had Dondon Hontiveros trying to fish for another foul from beyond the arc, but the defense of Marc Pingris led to two more Blakely free throws to seal the win.
San Mig sped off to 17 points in the first, while limiting Alaska to just nine. At the 1:30 mark, the Aces finally broke into double-digits, as forward Gabby Espinas made the first from the foul line, but missed the second. Luckily for Alaska, Wendell McKines was there for a put-back, 17-12.
Alaska force-fed McKines down low, but a well-timed block by Marqus Blakely gave the possession back to San Mig. Joe Devance then split from the line for a six-point lead at the end of the first, 18-12.
There was a stoppage of play at the 11:45 mark of the second period, as Allein Maliksi fell to the floor after a collision with Sonny Thoss. Maliksi's and Thoss' right knees collided on the drive, but it was the former UST player's left knee that sent him to the floor. After gathering himself for a split at the line, Maliksi then proceeded to limp to the locker room.
Buckets from Thoss and Mallari had San Mig up by 12, 26-14, before Tony Dela Cruz and McKines countered with four to cut their deficit to eight. A Mark Barroca dish to Blakely ended in a pretty slam down the lane, but Jvee Casio was there to bury a long three to beat the shot clock, 28-21.
McKines and Abueva were active down low, towing Alaska to within five with less than three minutes remaining, 31-26. An RJ Jazul trey inched the Aces closer, but baskets from Blakely kept Alaska at bay.

Once just a scorer, James Yap finds joy on defense under San Mig Coffee coach Tim Cone
In the past, James Yap contributions for San Mig Coffee was all about scoring.
But the Mixers superstar has found that he can help the team in many other ways. On Friday night, he only scored two points and attempted just six shots, but was still able to contribute to San Mig Coffee’s defensive effort to turn back Alaska.
“Kita mo naman tinira ko anim lang. At saka nakakapagod rin pala yung depensa,” said Yap, who said he is embracing coach Tim Cone’s philosophy of putting defense first.
“Sa sistema ngayon, yung mindset talaga namin is defense.”
The Mixers put together a fine defensive effort, holding Alaska to just 73 points on 28 percent shooting from the field.
“Ang sabi kasi ni Coach, second option na lang yung offense. Ang mahalaga, maka-stop kami lagi,” said Yap.
A deadly scorer from the time he first picked up a basketball, Yap said he’s now finding joy in other facets of the game beyond just putting the ball in the hoop.
“Iba pala ang feeling kapag nakaka-rebound ka tsaka dumidipensa ka, parang nakaka-shoot ka rin,” said Yap, who said he’s beginning to understand just why his teammate Marc Pingris enjoys defense and rebounding so much.
“Kaya ngayon alam ko na ang feeling ni Ping kapag nakaka-rebound at nakadepensa.”

‘Walang personalan’: James Yap, Marc Pingris ‘excited’ to face ex-coach Ryan Gregorio in semis
When San Mig Coffee takes on Meralco in the best-of-five Governors’ Cup semifinals beginning on Sunday, longtime members of the Mixers will see a familiar face on the opposing sidelines: Meralco coach Ryan Gregorio.
Gregorio coached the Purefoods franchise for eight seasons before moving to Meralco in 2011. While with the squad, he was responsible for drafting James Yap, signing Peter June Simon as a rookie free agent, and trading for Marc Pingris.
“First time itong mangyayari. Siyempre excited ako na makalaban si coach Ryan and yung team niya,” said Yap, who won two Philippine Cup titles under Gregorio in 2006 and 2010.
“Alam naman natin si Coach Ryan, magaling siya. Pero laro lang, trabaho lang.”
Pingris grew close to Gregorio during their time together, bonding while playing against each other in console games. He’s happy to see Gregorio in the playoffs, as Meralco makes its first final four appearance in franchise history.
